A polished edge is smooth and modern and suits frameless wall mirrors. A bevelled edge is cut at an angle around the border, which catches the light and gives a more classic look. Both are safe to touch.

Why do bathroom mirrors go black at the edges?
Humidity attacks the silver backing through unsealed edges. For bathrooms we use moisture-resistant mirror and seal the edges, which keeps them clear much longer in UAE humidity.
